How can something this easy be this amazing? and other assorted recipes
Last night I decided that we were going to have chicken and potatoes and veggies, but I encountered a wall.. I didnt just want boring chicken.. I wanted something new, something amazing... I turned to Pinterest and I found it.. all I was missing was... ...*drumroll please* BEER! ahh the magical liquid
I made this in the crockpot but I'm sure you can make it other ways. all you need to throw in is...
2 lbs chicken breast ( i used 1 lb)
1 bottle of your favorite beer
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper
Also this is a weight watchers recipe so If you are watching what you eat this is perfect and your significant other wont even be able to tell its healthy.. win win.
. Its a shame that it is that easy.. It will make your house smell so good. I was so excited to try it once it was done cooking that I forgot to take a picture before I started eating ooops..
tonight Jon and I are having steak and Jons friend Chris is coming over.. ( woo mini dinner party? )
I hope everything tastes good. oh and I'm making dessert too..
On the menu for dessert is Crescent roll cheesecake. I've heard it is AMAZING and Jon really wanted to try it so that was it.. I went out to the store and bought the ingredients
Cast of characters:
2 rolls of crescent dough
2 8 oz of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups of sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 stick butter
Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Unroll 1 can of crescent dough and press in to the bottom of the pan and press the seams together. In a separate bowl blend the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla and spread over the dough. Unroll the second can and place on top of cream cheese mixture and press seams together. Melt butter and pour over top of crescents. Mix the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon together and then sprinkle that allll over the top.. then pop that sucka in the oven and bake it at 350 for 30 minutes. Then take it out and let it cool and slice and enjoy and thank any person who makes this for you :)
let's see how this goes down.. Hope everything turns out fine.
