Everyone loves a trip to Target..

Last weekend Jon and I made dinner for his parents, it was great to cook for them since we often stay for dinner at their house.  They came over to see our outdoor furniture and see our headboard for our bed. 

For dinner I made Creamy Lemon Tortellini and 

for dessert I made Reese's Pieces Peanut Butter Pie . Everything turned out amazing and I am really glad I decided on making those things.

Yesterday for Dinner I made Jon Spicy Cheesy Bacon & Ranch Potatoes. I saw the recipe on Drizzle me Skinny. I love that site, it has soo many delicious recipes on there. Jon thought we needed more Bacon and we needed to double the recipe.  Maybe I will.. but I think if I do that I might need to invite some friends over.. 

Earlier today I was working out and the cat was just being way too cute.. I needed to take a picture..  He sure is a cute cat.. sometimes atleast..

Lately I've been dealing with a lot of difficult feelings, Jons Aunt passed away a week or so ago and we were in Colorado for her funeral. This was the first funeral since my moms funeral so I knew it was going to be tough to get through. The hardest part of the funeral was seeing people that I care about crying, I just wish I could have given everyone a hug. I also feel a little torn between being in Texas and my friends and family in NY.  One of my friends is going through a hard time and I have been her support system. Its an interesting role, I am learning a lot about life. 

 I just wish I could be in two places at once. 

One thing that I feel cheers me up besides working out or coloring is going shopping so I headed out to Target this morning and wandered around there for a while.. Target is the best and I can always find a bunch of awesome buys there.  Most of my purchases were for the apartment (i.e. tp, laundry detergent, soap) but I did find something that made me smile.  

I ended up with Air Freshener (because it smells good), Trail Mix, and concealer and a wallet.

I have an idea for something in mind that has to do with the wallet.. but I am waiting for the right time.
