Busy Busy Bee
Hi...
still remember me?
Good good.. This summer has already been really busy
In addition to helping plan two bridal showers for my lovely friends, I was traveling for a while.
Our first trip was to California to visit Jon's grandparents. I had never been there.
California is soo beautiful. The first day we spent the day in San Francisco, and got the most delicious sandwich on sourdough bread. The rest of the week we spent in Aptos. We went on a whale watch and got to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and another day we went to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. We did so much while we were there and it was lovely to visit his grandparents. The whole week I really wanted to try some San Francisco clam chowder but every time we were at a restaurant something else on the menu caught my attention. It was the last day and we were at the grocery store..out of the corner of my eye I saw clam chowder so I bought it.. I was super excited about it. While I was warming it up I look at the lid and Its from Washington State. Haha! Oh well. It was damn good.
And now Washington State should be on my list of places to visit ;)
When we got home I decided to try and make my own clam chowder.. It was supposed to be as close to the Washington clam chowder as it could be.. and it was pretty delicious.
I forgot to post some pics so here you are..
We got back to TX on the 18th of June and then our next trip was already planned.. Rooster Teeth Convention (RTX) in Austin starting on the 1st of July. We went last year but this year was sooo much better. The lines for the panels werent as long as last year and we ended up meeting some friends.
Stay Classy Guys..

There was a Discord meetup at Voodoo Donuts and we met a bunch of people there.. and yeah i guess the donuts are good too ;)
After that we went to a few panels and they were all really interesting.. behind the scenes stuff and Design stuff. We even saw a screening of a documentary.
It was cool seeing Rooster Teeth people in real life as opposed to on a video online. Burnie was staying at the same hotel as us., our friends got to meet him.
One night we ended up playing a bunch of card games with our friends. We played Exploding Kittens and Simon's Cat and Millon Dollars But.. It was really fun.
All in All it was a wonderful time in Austin and hey, Austin is pretty beautiful at night.
