We finally figured out what to make!
Yay! We are finally back at the apartment. We spent a few days at Jon's parents and had a lot of fun. We were supposed to go to the zoo but we decicded instead to go to Galveston. We went to Moody Gardens and saw Penguins! It was really fun and I'm glad we decided to do that.
The other night I wanted to make something for dinner but I couldn't figure out what to make and Jon was sleeping so he couldn't give me any advice. Suddenly I thought about when I was a kid and my mom used to make Toast with an egg in the middle of it. I remember it tasting great! So I decided to look up recipes and I found the Pioneer Woman's recipe. ( I love her, I'm gonna buy her book ) The Egg in the hole turned out amazing, I cooked it for a little longer but that's the way I like it. It was a perfect meal for a late-ish dinner. It brought me back to my childhood!

Jon and I decided to whip up another amazing dinner tonight, we consulted our recipe organizer and we made Chicken Divan. It's a recipe from Jonathan's mother and its amazing.
It's really pretty simple to make but I can't find the exact recipe online so I'll type it out
Ingredients:
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1 pkg froz. broccoli(cooked+drained)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup mayonnaise
curry powder to taste
bread crumbs
rice
Mix soup, mayonnaise +curry powder in a bowl, set aside
Put broccoli on bottom of a casserole dish
Add Chicken and cover with the soup mixture
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs
Bake at 350 for 30 mins or microwave at medium power for 7 minutes.
Then serve over rice.
I tried to take a picture of it but only remembered when it was in the microwave. Once it was done Jon and I were too excited and completely forgot to take another picture. All that is left is just a little bit in our tupperware.. Hopefully Jon doesn't take all of it to work. :P
Soo apparently Jon and I had too much fun over his spring break. When I woke up the other day I had a sore throat and a super stuffed nose, so apparently I caught a cold.. booo.. Pretty sure I had like 3 cups of tea yesterday.. fun stuff.. Anyone know any good cures for colds?
Thank you for reading !
