bunch of pics and Thanksgiving stuff

This time of year always ramps up and gets busier and before you know it, its next year already.
Now that Thanksgiving is over I could it is time to start thinking about Hanukkah and Christmas or Christmakkuh, if you will.

I actually saw Christmas trees at the store this morning, I miss having a real tree.

Near Halloween I went over to my friends apartment, she lives in the same apartment complex so its really easy to go over :) and I frosted cupcakes with her 4 year old son. I finally was able to get the icing jel that I forgot. Look how cute the sugar knives are...

 Last week I really wanted to bake again so I decided to bake Peanut Butter M&M bars and Maple Snickerdoodles. The Maple Snickerdoodles were possibly even better than regular Snickerdoodles.

Jon really liked the Snickerdoodles and I think its just about time to make some more.. maybe I'll let a few more people try them ;) 

For Thanksgiving I made a Caramel Apple Pie with a Pecan oat crumble topping, apparently even just the topping alone was tasty for people who dont like apples.  It was a Pioneer Woman recipe and I think I found my new pie crust recipe. It was made with vinegar which was surprising but it was really yummy. 

I need to make a few more pies to work on making a perfect crust.. I almost got it. Hmm what kind should I make? 

I was at the store earlier and I found Noodles with Cheddar cheese? ewww. I mean Mac and Cheese is good .. but not with ramen noodles .. that just sounds weird... 

I mean.. I would still try it. but eh sounds odd. 

I've been playing a lot of Pokemon over the Thanksgiving weekend. Its a pretty good game,, gotta catch em all ;)
