Finding the time
Hello Again. Missed you guys
I've been meaning to update my blog way more than I have but its been a busy few months (not necessarily bad months just was focusing on other things. Now that I think about it my creativity has gone down.. so now I'm going to say lets change that Rachel!
When I was looking for recipes the other day I came across a Jewish coffee cake recipe and it reminded me of my grandmothers coffee cake and coffee cake is tasty soo.. I'm going to make it this weekend. I just got back from the store earlier I had pretty good conversation with the cashier about desserts and what to have for Valentines day. I couldn't decide so I picked up two different choices and Jon can decide what we have. Choices Choices...
So I might be a big dork but I kind of really love the Olympics. summer and winter, It doesn't matter I love them both. So you could say I am a bit excited that they started... We've had the NBC sports app on alot, whether its snowboarding, curling or figure skating I love it all. I think my love for the Olympics started because we used to watch it as a family ( well more so with my mom when it came to figure skating) When I was really little I used to roller skate around the house in time with the ice skating music.
Last month I made cookies for my friends sister, she had just had a baby and I wanted to bake anyway so I made some Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies and she sent me a message after she tried one and said they were her favorite cookie... and she said she didnt even like oatmeal cookies before them.. :) aww!
Also last month it actually snowed in Texas.. I think around the 16th. It was sleeting and cold and then it straight up turned to snow.. big fluffy snowflakes.. I was in heaven...until I realized that my car became the ice-mobile.. but it had melted by the next day.
Valentines day is coming up.. maybe I can find or make some food related valentines ... this one is cute..

This valentine reminds me that when we get a house I want cute food pun signs around the kitchen. (yeah I'm going to be that person)
