Happy Tuesday and a pic drop :)

Apparently I have a thing with making cookies, the last post I made I baked cookies, Oh Well, I like experimenting with new recipes.

A few months ago Jon brought home some pears and some other stuff from Harry & David from work. We got to try the cookies, and they were delicious. Golden buttery shortbread cookie with a jam filling.  I wanted to challenge myself and I found a recipe slightly like the cookies from Instructables. Raspberry cookies  They were pretty simple to make, for the jam I used Oregon red raspberry that I found at Kroger.  The recipe I used drizzled the finished cookies with chocolate but I decided to not do that.
I think I am going to make these again .. they disappeared way too quickly
Might have to get some taste testers this time ; )

It is currently getting hot again outside, I think it is like 80 degrees today.. Here's summer? ha.  the pollen is definitely out. We swept off the patio the other weekend and it already bad again. Jon's been sneezing up a storm and my eyes have been watering alot. so annoying. It is supposed to rain later this afternoon, heres hoping that the rain washes away the pollen. 

I forgot to post pictures of the coffee cake I made last month. ooops. 

It was super tasty and the topping was sweet and crunchy and yummy.
