I've discovered Recipe gold..
Edit: I was going to update this yesterday but didn't get home until 10:30 at night.
Have you ever been in that situation where its a Thursday night after a long day and you have no idea what to make.. and on top of that you don't really feel like spending all night cooking.. Well I've got a recipe for you.
Its called Chicken Crescents and It might be the best thing I've ever made.
I've been seeing the recipe on Pinterest alot and I figured hey, I might as well try it. How wrong could it go ? lol
It's about the easiest recipe ever, all you need is
Shredded Cheese
Cream of Chicken Soup
Chicken
Crescent rolls
Simple Simple..
The only thing that takes a long time is shredding the chicken.. Yeah Yeah I do have a Kitchen aid Mixer but it would be more work then being helpful. We still don't have a place for the mixer. So I just shredded it with two forks. ( I shredded a lot so I would have extra for a Chicken salad pita the next day)
All you need to do is cook chicken or use already cooked chicken ,
Make the soup and add a can of milk to the soup then you lay out the crescent and place a few pieces of chicken and a handful of shredded cheese on top and roll up the crescent. Then Place all the rolled up crescents in a pan and cover with the soup. (salt and pepper to taste)
Pop in the oven at 350 for 30 mins or until crescents are golden brown.
Once they were done I dished out some for Jon and I watched him take the first bite.. It seems he liked them he let out a really long MMMMMMM. He says its the best thing I've ever made and he wants me to make them again soon.
I'd say that it was a success.

Don't they look Delicious? |
On Monday night I wanted to Marinate something so while I was at the store I picked up some Carribean Jerk Marinade and some chicken. I marinaded them for a little over an hour or two and made a pitcher of Iced Tea. (yum) I made some rice and some veggies to even out the dinner. It was really tasty. the boyfriend liked it too.
I've realized that we eat to much chicken. I need to find a way to dim it down.
