Home Sweet Home

I guess someone was looking out for me on my flights home, They were both on time and perfect.  Thank god.  It's so nice to be back in Texas, although the trip home was a nice chance to be there for my family.

I found a really awesome recipe for really cute pumpkin cupcakes, but I figured I wouldn't make two pumpkin recipes in a row.  but be on the lookout for the cupcakes..

Aren't they adorable?

So without further ado, here is what I'm actually making for this weeks blog.

Smore's Croissants *intake of breath*

I wanted to make something amazing and chocolaty ( that's spelled weird) that I could have with my morning coffee.. I think these fit the bill..  I cut corners a little, I used store bought biscuit dough (don't tell my mom)

Ingredients:

1 package biscuit dough or make your own
1 cup or so of mini marshmallows
1 cup or so of chocolate chips

Directions are pretty straight forward but I'll explain them because I feel like it.

  Preheat the oven to 375
Pop open the can of crescent rolls( it scares me every-time it pops) and spread open the crescent rolls, fill the crescent rolls with some marshmallows and then some chocolate chips. The roll up the crescent rolls into little bundles, fold in the sides so the yummy gooey-ness doesn't fall out and make a big mess.  :)

Creating them

And then stare at the great creation you just made and then pop them in the oven for 11-13 minutes ( 13 minutes if they are tightly packed )

Also Warning : A few minutes in the marshmallows might ooze out a bit.. It might look weird but you didn't mess up..its normal

It would be really fun to try to make these while camping :)

gahh... These are what dreams are made of.  Pretty sure everyone needs to try these.

make them right noww!
